Camping 2009

Labeled that because more than likely we won't be making another trip in 2009....We did have a great time though. Luckily we had Phillip that planned, organized and catered the whole event! Carmen and I were able to stay in a cabin with the smaller boys while the bigger kids stayed in a tent. We dined on some great food (S'mores included), swam, the kids (including Jonathan and Phillip) fished and played outside catching bugs and just enjoying the great outdoors.

Catching Up...

My weeks are beginning to get away from me! The latest Griffin news is that we have sold our house - set to close on Tuesday and have bought another one (that is going to require lots of time and energy). We have to be out of here by the end of the month....and what am I doing....blogging. I probably won't for a while after this but I do need to catch up. Jude and Ella spent some time Grandparent hopping after school was out over the Memorial Day weekend. They went to KY first then off to MO. They had so much fun visiting all the sites of Missouri and hanging out with Pops and Mimi. I have pictures to post but I will have to get them off the cd from work and post later.

The pictures above are from the best $10 I ever spent. This was Jude's only gift when we went to Disney almost 2 years ago. He still loves it and I am shocked it even works anymore. He was showing it to Gabe but Gabe can't play with it.

The other pictures are from a fun filled water day with Nick and Debbie a few weeks back. The kids played on the Slip-N-Slide, kiddie pool, swingset, trampoline and had some fun with water balloons. The big kids ate...of course.
