In one night we combine the adults favorite activity with the kids favorite activity - eating for us and crab hunting for them. We are catch and release on the crabs. We did catch some big ones though. Jude likes to catch but it still pretty afraid of them!

I love Gabe's nerdy face and Ella's "blowfish" look. Jude is just hanging out.

The yearly attempt at beach picutres is growing increasingly harder! You can get kids dressed up but you can't make them smile...even if they are smiling, odds are there will be one person who is not - and they may be picking their nose, eating sand or just asking to be finished!

The $10 boogie board was a much bigger hit than anticipated. I should have bought Ella one too. She did get to take a turn every now and then. The boys loved the "surfing". Jude would go out in the morning and say "it's a great day for surfing". Ella and Landon played on the beach and Ella even enjoys being buried (for some reason).

the gang , minus Nana, Pepaw, Puh, Jonathan and I thought Landon was there somewhere...

Lulu's is always fun, the food is okay but the atmosphere is great. Puh had a great time with his hole digging contest. Our kids also seemed to gather the biggest pile of buckets around.

So I am way behind - but here are some pictures from the WHCA Fish Fry this year. Nice work, Carmen. It was fun! I really didn't break out the camera too much but this year I could have. Mimi and Pops came down and I actually had free hands. The food was great, as always - the snow cones for lunch were Jude, Ella and Gabe's favorite treats. Also, Jude had a soccer game so there are a few highlights from his second game (he has only played 3 so far).
